Everytime Jesus spoke or gave a word He said “for those who have ears to hear.”
You can talk to many, but some will hear and some won’t. And the reason they don’t hear is because He isn’t allowing them to.
“Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.””
John 8:47 ESV
This morning my cat shows me his catch, and immediately I knew the Lord was speaking. “The thief has been caught and killed.”
It is important that we open our eyes to His voice in EVERY way. He says MY SHEEP KNOW MY VOICE. Are you discerning His voice? It should be your #1 PRIORITY because His voice is ETERNAL LIFE.
My daughter has been batteling a spirit of theft at school, and yesterday we talked about how maybe we should buy the girl who always had her Stanley a Stanley of her own. The look my daughter gave me was like I said well she wants one so bad, maybe we should just bless her with one. IMMEDIATELY I felt the enemy bow and his tactic to try and get my daughter into offense and bitterness broke.
We have to come to a place where we refuse to take offense and “hear” as God hears and see that she was only trying to say “I want a Stanley.”
Not only does the act of LOVE and a response of BLESSING free you, but it breaks the spirit off of the other person too.
Today before school we talked about not allowing the enemy to build a stronghold of being in FEAR OF THEFT as I saw he was trying to do in my daughter.
We have to teach our children the ways of God now, EVERYDAY. We can’t wait for the Sunday school teacher to teach them. MOM AND DAD your to disciple your children NOW.
The word says, “no weapon formed against you will prosper.” If you obey the commandments of the Lord and in this case bless your enemies.
You can’t hold onto a scripture and expect it to do what it says it will do if you aren’t doing what He says to do.
I DECLARE TODAY that the SPIRIT OF THEFT will be caught and killed in your life in JESUS NAME!
